I just finished the pattern with three counts in a bar, like the 3\/4 and 3\/8 time signatures.<\/p>\n<p>Below is the three-beat pattern that is legato. That is, the movement on all beating points is rounded, to create a flowing sound from the musicians:<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.krammer.nl\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/a99_-_drieslag_helemaal_legato_2.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"330\" height=\"250\" class=aligncenter><\/p>\n<p>A lot of directors prefer a beating pattern with legato beating points, except for the 1.
